![]() I’ve spent upwards of 45 minutes in this shop before, and it’s not that big! I love reading all of the cards and sussing out the different stationary. I mean, paper products and cards don’t draw out the enthusiasm in most people, but when you happen upon this great stationary store, somehow you feel invested, maybe even passionate, about quality paper-products. ![]() I’ll definitely be coming back here!ĭuly Noted is surprisingly fun. So far, I’ve bought a couple, and they’re great! To complement it, I bought one of their fancy pens (’cause you know, if you’re buying fancy journals, you might as well splurge on a fancy writing utensil too) - not cheap, but it does the job, and when the ink runs out, I can just switch the cartridge. While talking with one of the friendly staff during my visit, I learned that they will actually provide complimentary wrapping for you if you choose to purchase a roll of paper, how cool is that? Usually I wrap my own gifts (used to be a mall gift-wrapper back in my high school days… ah the joys of being a broke student…), but on the off chance that I get lazy, I know where to go for my wrapping services :) One other thing I like about this place is their moleskin journals, which are as varied and assorted as the paper stationary at Duly Noted. No worries about anyone else buying the same card as you (unless that shop here too, ha!) There are also tons of beautiful gift wrap selections for any event (this Christmas varieties seem to be at the forefront this time of the year). I like Duly Noted’s selection– they’re unique and intrinsic, and you won’t find ones like these at Hallmark or your local dollar store, that’s for sure. I scoped out the greeting car section, and found a variety of beautiful brithday and Christmas cards. I first came here in search of unique, quality wedding invitations– and I found just what I was looking for– sleek and simple with a subtle hit of adornment (and the best part– these beautifully designed invites were far less pricey than samples I’d seen at other locations– score!!) Pleased with my findings, I continued to pore through their endless supply of other paper products and stationary goods. Perhaps one of you will be more worthy.ĭidn’t think it was even possible to get this excited about stationary! Step inside this little paper boutique and you’re guaranteed to be swept away by all the lively colors and prints of papers, greeting cards and gift wrap. There’s a case of pens and pencils so lovely, that I certainly don’t deserve to use them for my chicken-scratching. Be sure to check out the pen section as well. ![]() The man and I have a running joke based on one! There’s also note cards, invitations, to-do lists, pencil cases, and a selection of handmade paper that makes me wish I was a crafty person. They’re arty, witty, and often hilarious. There are also cards for all occasions, and these cards go beyond your standard Hallmark selection. It’s rare that I pass up the chance to pick up a blank notebook to scribble inside, and the selection here is outstanding. This store is one of my favourite places in the city. Remember every year when you would get your list of school supplies? Remember the joy of picking out just the right pencils and the perfect notebook? If you’d like to feel that all over again, walk through the doors of Duly Noted. I dare you to go in and NOT buy something, if only a beautiful new pen, I DARE YOU! I would, however suggest heading over and checking it out. The quality is obviously there and so I would not hesitate too much in buying things regularly or ordering special invitations, but I understand that with major office supply stores and the Wal-Marts of the world, it can be a little more than people want to spend. This is amazing because from what another sales associate said, they can pretty much create whatever you want and make them very unique and beautiful… Since I would not trust myself, or many people I know, to create something for a special occasion like that, it’s nice to know there is somewhere I can go! The price is a little steep. I heard a woman ordering her «Thank You» cards and wedding related items. They had beautiful gift wrapping selection and PENS! I felt like a kid in a candy store… or a pen lover in a stationery store? The other thing I had not realized was that they do custom invitation and event planning things. They had big to small, perfect for anything you were looking for. Filled with beautiful paper and notebooks and anything stationery you could think of! I was looking for a notebook and the choices were very near endless. Until last week… Now I walked in just to see what all the fuss was about. I have always heard about it, even my sisters have tried to get me to go but for some reason I never ended up there. As bad as it is to admit this… I have only recently discovered Duly Noted.
